Johnny Somali Says He’s “Ready to Die” for Anarchist Viewers as He Faces Jail Time

Controversial streamer Johnny Somali isn’t backing down, even with legal trouble piling up in South Korea. Instead, he’s doubling down, calling himself a “bastion of evil” for his anarchist viewers.

Johnny Somali—real name Ramsey Khalid Ismael—has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. After stirring up chaos in Japan and Israel, he entered South Korea in 2024 and picked up right where he left off. Unsurprisingly, that led to police charging him for his antics.

So far, he’s pled guilty to Obstruction of Business (for a wild stream inside a 7-Eleven) and two counts of the Minor Crimes Act (for harassing people with a dead fish and twerking on the subway). And that’s just the beginning—he’s facing even more charges soon.

Johnny Somali Wants to Be the “Bastion of Evil” for His Viewers

Despite all this, Johnny isn’t slowing down. Now streaming on Parti, he’s basically promising to cause as much chaos as possible in exchange for donations.

“If y’all give me the support and the donations, and the love, the power chats, the crypto donations… I’m ready, bro. Y’all want chaos? Let me be your conduit!” he said on stream. “Let me be your bastion of evil.”

Johnny has a long history of pulling insane stunts, and his time in Korea has been no different. He’s already been accused of blasting North Korean propaganda, making deepfakes of other streamers, violating the railroad act, and even threatening to sexually assault female streamers.

And from the way he talks, he’s just getting started.

“If you want to see anarchy, if you’re an anarchist and you want somebody that is going to crash out with no remorse, with no sense of self-worth, with no sense of self-preservation, I will be your man,” he bragged.

“I’m ready to crash out on the streets and die for you. I have body scars. [Somebody] slashed my forehead when I was in Israel. I got bodyscars and I’m still pushing p.”

Johnny’s reckless behavior has gotten him attacked multiple times on stream, including getting knocked out cold by a former Korean Special Forces soldier.

His next court date is April 9, and if his first appearance was anything to go by, things aren’t looking great. Last time, he showed up late, hungover, and wearing a MAGA hat (which the court had to tell him to take off multiple times).

Now, he’s facing yet another Obstruction of Business charge, which could land him in jail for five years, plus a sex crime charge in another district.

At this point, it seems like it’s only a matter of time before his chaotic run comes to an end.
