Playboi Carti Calls Adin Ross Stream “Awkward” After Making Kai Cenat & Crew Wait Hours for His Album
Rapper Playboi Carti told Kai Cenat he wants to work with more streamers after admitting his stream with Adin Ross was kinda “awkward.”
On March 13, Carti finally started teasing that his long-awaited album I Am Music was dropping soon. He had social media buzzing, even getting Spotify involved in the hype.
A bunch of Twitch streamers, including Kai Cenat, ImDontai, and Dabo, were all locked in, waiting for the album to drop. Kai was even on the phone with Carti, trying to get updates while they all sat around waiting.

Carti Made Streamers Wait Hours for the Album
During the call, they brought up Carti’s infamous stream with Adin Ross. If you don’t remember, Adin claimed the Whole Lotta Red rapper got paid $2 million and a brand new Ferrari just to show up. But Carti showed up two hours late and then dipped after five minutes.
Turns out, Carti wasn’t really feeling it. He told Kai the whole thing was just weird and that he and Adin didn’t really vibe.
“Yeah, I got to because that Adin Ross sit, I ain’t like that Adin Ross sit bro. It wasn’t even supposed to be like that. I wish that s*it wasn’t like that,” Carti said. “I don’t mean nothing negative, for real.”
Adin saw the clip and responded with a laughing emoji, so maybe he’ll talk about it on stream soon.

The Album Finally Dropped After a Long Wait
After making everyone wait for hours, I Am Music finally hit Spotify at 7:23 AM EST. Even though it was crazy early in the U.S., over 600,000 people were still tuned into different streams, ready to hear the first reactions.
Kai was quick with his review, rating the album an 8.8 out of 10 after his first listen. But after going through it again, he bumped it up to a 9 out of 10.
The Twitch star also hinted at doing a 24-hour stream with Carti in the future. Considering how long Carti made everyone wait, that seems only fair.
